Up for your consideration is this gorgeous Art Deco Dark Red Garnet Ring that is set in 10K Yellow Gold. This garnet ring is very unusual where it is not a true cabochon gem but instead a gem that has a flat top and all of the faceted work in the gemstone is on the underside of the gem. What this does is it allows for varying plays of red color. Absolutely stunning and so very rare.
The gold is 10K Yellow Gold and the mounting is beautifully done with a very impressive crowned stepped setting that has caviar beading as an accents around the edges. There are two regular prongs on the side of the gem and on the top and bottom, it has a curved tension setting that allows you to see as much of the gem as possible. The shoulders have some beautiful simplistic Art Deco design work that brings out the femininity of this ring. This ring is stunning and unusual and oh so pretty!!
• Size of the ring is 7.5 - (resizable - sizing for this ring is FREE, if you need the ring resized, please write what your size requirement is in the notes at checkout. Sizing takes about a day or two extra time.)
• Weight of the ring is 1.5 grams
• Length of the setting from north to south is 10mm
• Width of the setting is 13.4mm from decorative shoulder to decorative shoulder (west to east)
• Information on the garnet gem: This is a genuine Garnet Gem; size measures 7mm in length by 4mm in width = approximately .75 carat ** Just below ¾ carat; place of origin is thought to be Brazil
• Condition is Very Good to Excellent – this ring is circa 1920s; the gem has a very tiny flea bite on one of the edges that is only able to be seen with a loop. The top of the gem is exceptionally clean for its age with minimal wear throughout the ring
• Hallmarks are “10K” and “JOEY” ** I believe, difficult to read the mark because it is partially worn off – this is my best guess

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
