This is a very cute Antique Buttercup Pink Sapphire Ring. The center stone is a nice dark pink sapphire that is round and 6.5mm in diameter, which equals 1 Carat in size. The color of the sapphire is very vibrant and it is rich with color. The pinkish hues bounce off of the buttercup setting… so very feminine. On the sides of the band are very decorative leaf designs with some etched leaf design work in each. This ring is in great shape for pre-1900s and the sapphire is in good shape. I am not seeing any scuffs or scratches what so ever. It really a very clean gem… not certain if it original to the ring or not. Please Note: There is a small inclusion that was seen by my jeweler that is towards the bottom of the gem... only visible with a loop.
• Size of the ring is 5.25 – (resizable - sizing for this ring is FREE, if you need the ring resized, please write what your size requirement is in the notes at checkout. Sizing takes about a day or two extra time.)
• Weight of the ring is 1.6 grams
• Size of the gem is 6.5mm in diameter = 1 Total Carat Weight
• Width of the band is 1.7mm at the base and 3.7mm up at the leaf are of the shoulders
• Thickness of the band is .4mm
• Condition is Very Good to Excellent – this ring has had some repair work done to it. All prongs have been tightened and the gem has been level set into the mounting. The band has also been straightened or rounded. Estimated age is Circa 1900 or earlier.
• There are no hallmarks on this ring; tested positive for 10K gold at a minimum

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
