This is a very pretty and striking Bird of Paradise Brooch that is done in the Cloisonne Enamel Style. The primary colors of this brooch is a beautiful deep rich maroon coupled with a metallic grey. There is gold gilt around each enameled piece of this brooch as well as the branch that the bird is sitting on. Truly a gorgeous brooch that is sure to compliment any outfit!
Please note: In different light, the enamel on the bird can look more of a plum color with a grey lilac and in lower lighting, the colors are a maroon and grey look. It is a subtle difference, but do want to mention it.
• Length of the brooch is 2 ¾ inches in length
• Width of the brooch is 5/8 of an inch at its widest point
• This brooch has a nice twist straight pin clasp
• Condition is Excellent – in “Like New” Condition
• Hallmark is a Fish inside of a Crown - FISH & CROWN ENAMELS - Fish & Crown Company from the 80s, a newly formed company that was once two separate and distinct companies - Fish Enterprises UK and Crown Enamels USA and both specialized in cloisonné enamel pieces, such as this one, throughout the 80s and 90s. Together this merged company produced many designs under several brand names - Fish, Two Fishes, Fish & Crown, Celtic, Sea Gems, etc, etc... They used a cross-hatched texture on the backs of all their brands, which identifies them as surely as if they bore the famous Fish and Crown mark on every piece. Their pieces are usually 22ct gold-plated metal or 925 silver-plated metal with beautiful cloisonné enamels in bright clear colors, which do withstand the test of time beautifully.

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
