This is an amazing ring that my jeweler and I got together and created. I had the gem and she had the 1960s 14K gold semi mount. And of course she did the work to create this beautiful ring. So this becomes a one of a kind ring that has brought together old and new elements. An old mounting with a new gem added.
This ring sports a Yellow Citrine gem that can also be termed a Lemon Quartz gem. See below for details on both gems and terms. The Yellow Citrine Gem is clear and sparkly and it is strikingly beautiful. It is a heart shaped gem and measures approximately 12mm by 12mm, which totals 6 wonderful Carats!
• Size of the ring is 7.25 – resizable – sizing for this ring is free, if you need the ring resized, please write what your size requirement is in the notes at checkout. Sizing takes about a day or two extra time.
• Weight of the ring is 4.6 grams
• Height of the mounting is 9.1mm
• Width of the band is 2.4mm at the base and 6mm up at the shoulders
• Condition is Excellent – professionally made, cleaned and polished
• There are no hallmarks on this ring, ring has been professionally tested to be 14K gold
LEMON CITRINE OR LEMON QUARTZ INFORMATION:
Lemon quartz citrine obtains its brilliant sparkling color through an artificial gamma-ray irradiation process followed by a mild heat treatment. Not all quartz can be made into sparkling lemon quartz. Most aluminum-rich quartz will turn near-black to black when irradiated; though some yellowish-brown aluminum-rich quartz can be used to produce lemon quartz if it is first heated and then irradiated. Heat causes the material to lose its color and when it is exposed to irradiation, the yellow color returns. Also, lithium-rich quartz that is exposed to very mild heat (140-280 °C) tends to turn yellowish-green even without irradiation. These could be traded as both citrine or lemon quartz, since they are not irradiated. Like all quartz and citrine gemstones, they are considered to be very durable and is therefore suitable for all types of jewelry.

The color yellow is often associated with clarity, happiness and communication, and lemon quartz citrine is thought to bring balance and positive energy to its wearer.

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
