BARBARA BATES Brocade Purse, Compact, Lipstick Holder, Comb, Manicure Set, Coin Purse, Brocade Purse Set, Chatelaine Chain, Brocade Purse
This is a wonderful 1950 Brocade Purse that has just a bunch of surprises inside of it!! The purse is actually made of wood with an outer padded brocade fabric… so feminine! On the edges are gold or brass wide frame with a grooved design and a Snap Shut mechanism. Attached is a 10 inch gold chatelaine chain to drape over your wrist when wearing it… such a feminine look!!
Inside the purse you will find an unused Compact that is Gold in color, thin and clean. Next to that is a lipstick holder that opens and is ready for your favorite shape of lipstick. This item also does not appear to have ever been used.
Also found on the other side of the purse inside, is a pink leather manicure set with all the essentials inside, a clear and gold plastic comb and a beautiful little matching brocade coin purse. The manicure set is not original to this set, but I thought it was a good match and offers close to the same manicure essentials as the original. Sorry the original manicure set was missing from this purse. The manicure set comes from Austria, so a very well made mini set

• Height of the purse is 3 ¼ inches (north to south)
• Length of the chain is 10 inches (approximately)
• Depth of the purse is 2 inches
• Condition is Excellent
• Hallmarks show a Barbara Bates tag on the inside of the purse and it will also come with its original box

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
