This is a wonderful pair of Lorgnette Eye Glasses that are 14K White Gold Filled and therefore are post 1916. These eye glasses are spring loaded and can be opened by pushing the very small button at the base of the handle and pushing the side bar that is located on the eye glass that will pop out. A bit tricky, but it does work. Because these glasses do not have nose guards, you simply lay the bridge on the eyeglasses on the bridge of your nose and always holding the handle, you will be able to read what you need to very clearly. These glasses are made for quick menu scans or theatre brochures / pamphlets.
These glasses come with a genuine leather pouch… I do not believe that they are original to the glasses, but they did come with them and their age is Circa 1900. And also a sterling silver chain. Please note, you may want a longer chain if you chose to wear these as a pendant.
Approximate measurements are:
• 3 inches from the bottom of the filigree handle to the top of the glasses
• Width of the glasses is 2 inches
• Length of the chain is 18 inches
• Length of the case is 3 inches by 2.5 inches
• Condition is Excellent – No known issues, no scratches or scuffs, beautiful filigree work
• Hallmark is on the bridge of the glasses “1/10 14K GF”
• Please Note: that in the photos, the mannequin that I use is small, so they look a bit funny hanging from the neck in some of the photos

What are my shipping Charges?
Currently, all Domestic orders will be shipped free of charge. **International folks, unfortunately I do need to charge a shipping fee of $20.00 to help offset my costs... apologies for that!! Any charges over $20.00, I will incur.
Does this shop do Layaway or Payment Plans?
Yes, we do Layaway and Payment Plans. If you are interested in a payment plan for any item in my shop, please reach out to me and I'll work with you to set up a plan that works for you. I'll make every effort to make sure that you are able to get the item that you love!
Can you make me a Reduced Price Offer on an item?
Yes! REASONABLE offers are welcome and seriously considered.
How are RETURNS Handled?
If you chose to return an item, please reach out to me so that I know that the item is being returned and I can be sure to look for it in my future mail. Most items will be refunded fully. The EXCEPTION is if you have a ring resized. Unfortunately, I am forced to minus the cost of the ring sizing from the total amount that it was purchased for. Sizing costs can range from $25 to $50 dollars dependent on the ring size difference and whether the base metal of the ring is silver or gold. The most common cost to me is $35.00 for most rings. The remainder of the amount of the item will be refunded to you just as soon as I receive the item back.
